All KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools board meetings are open to the public. If stakeholders would like the opportunity to address the board, a public comment period is set aside in each regularly scheduled quarterly meeting agenda. This public-comment period is designed for the Board to gain input from the public. However, individuals should not expect immediate responses by the Board to the comments presented.
Individuals who wish to address issues related to an individual school should communicate directly with the school’s advisory council using the school’s advisory council communication protocols or by following the established grievance process outlined in the student/parent handbook. Individuals who wish to address the regional governing board at a board meeting must advise KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools of their intent and sign up at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting by contacting the Executive Director’s office.
