About Angela Bond

Chief Strategy Officer

Angela oversees strategic planning, regional data, board management, and cross-functional projects for KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools. She joined the KIPP team and family in 2011 as the founding talent recruiter for the region, creating a centralized hiring process as the region grew. Most recently, she served as the Managing Director of Talent and led the organization’s talent team in attracting, developing, motivating, and retaining our faculty and staff.

Angela began her career in education as an elementary school teacher in New Orleans. She earned a dual B.A. degree in Government and Criminology from the University of Maryland.

Outside of work, Angela loves to spend time with her husband and two sons, playing outside, and traveling.
