About Jamina Cole King

Executive Director of
Community Giving and Impact

Jamina Cole King is a seasoned non-profit leader with nearly 20 years of experience in resource development and non-profit management. She is the Executive Director of Community Giving and Impact at The Mount Vernon School, leading a team of fundraising and engagement professionals to meet the School’s resource development needs. Previously, she served as the Managing Director, Development for Emory University’s University, Centers, Institutes, and Programs, as Senior Development Officer at Tulane Law School, and held key roles at Teach For America Metro Atlanta and The Serenbe Institute. Jamina has a BFA in Theater from the California Institute for the Arts and a Master’s in Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University. Jamina is a passionate advocate for the underserved and a proud parent of three. Her guiding principle is Mahatma Gandhi’s quote: “In a gentle way, you can shake the world.”
